Built for the independent worker's capital decisions.
Motsepe Wealth exists to give freelancers and independent contractors the same quality of capital decision support that larger, better-resourced organisations take for granted — without the fees that erode returns over time.
Why we started
Independent income is inherently irregular. Freelancers and contractors are expected to manage cash flow, save for taxes, and make capital decisions without the payroll-linked tools, advisors, or institutional infrastructure available to salaried employees at larger firms.
Motsepe Wealth was built to close that gap — combining AI-driven decision support with a zero-fee execution model, so that the cost of acting on a decision never outweighs the benefit of making it.
We are still early in that work. Our focus remains narrow and deliberate: helping one type of worker make better capital decisions, rather than trying to serve every kind of investor at once.
Decision support that respects irregular income
We don't assume a steady paycheck, a fixed savings schedule, or a traditional employment structure. Every part of Motsepe Wealth is designed around the reality of variable, project-based income.
Principles behind the product
These are the standards we hold ourselves to as we build and refine Motsepe Wealth.
Clarity over complexity
Capital decisions should be understandable, not obscured behind jargon or unnecessary complexity. We aim to explain the reasoning behind every recommendation.
Cost discipline
Fees compound against you over time. Our zero-fee execution model reflects a belief that the cost of acting on a decision shouldn't outweigh its value.
Built for one audience
We serve freelancers and independent contractors specifically, rather than trying to be a general-purpose platform for every type of user.
The people behind Motsepe Wealth
Motsepe Wealth is built by a small, focused team spanning product, engineering, and research. We work closely together to keep the platform aligned with the day-to-day realities of independent work, rather than building in the abstract.
As we grow, we intend to stay disciplined about who we bring in and why — prioritising depth of understanding of our users over speed of headcount growth.
